Mil is a senior studying Environmental Health Sciences and Engineering at UNC’s Gillings School of Global Public Health. They took their gap year in 2022-2023 and spent time in Puerto Rico, Wisconsin, Egypt, Italy, and Croatia, focusing on disability advocacy and life-sharing. They love travelling, dancing, being outside, sailing, serve as a Gap Year Consultant for GGYF, and hope to encourage other students to “take the leap” to do what they love.
