Angela is a junior from Greensboro, North Carolina. She took a gap year through the Global Gap Year Fellowship and Global Citizen Year in 2019 to 2020. During her gap year, she lived in Natabuela, Ecuador and interned at Fábrica Imbabura, a national museum and cultural complex in Atuntaqui. At UNC, Angela is a Health Policy and Management major at the Gillings School of Global Public Health and is a Hispanic Studies minor with interests in Global Health and health equity.
