Sarah Breland

Sarah Breland is from Montville, Ohio and graduated from Notre Dame Cathedral Latin School. There, she volunteered with beach cleanups, the Red Cross, and serving food to the elderly and kids with special needs. Sarah dedicates herself to working in her family’s farm and garden, and hopes to be able to teach others the skills she uses there. Sarah also worked as a florist, and so she is very passionate about nature, animals, and the medical field. Since starting her gap year, Sarah traveled to Greece to volunteer with Katelios Group for the Research and Protection of Marine Terrestrial Life in Kefalonia Island, Greece. After that, Sarah decided to dedicate the remaining part of her service to volunteer with Indonesia Biru Foundation (IBF) who focus on coral reef restoration, research, and coastal community development in Thailand.
