Owen Dyer, a recent graduate from Greene Central High School in Snow Hill, NC (Class of 2024), was an active participant in sports such as Cross Country, Golf, and Track and Field. He also held leadership roles, serving as President of the National Honor Society and STEM Ambassadors, as well as Secretary for Future Health Professionals (HOSA) and Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA).
Kicking off his Gap Year, Owen has already visited Chicago and Washington, DC, and is eagerly looking forward to his upcoming travels to Malta. While in the Mediterranean, he will volunteer with Friends of the Earth Malta, a nonprofit dedicated to sustainability, environmental justice, and social equity. Upon returning to UNC-Chapel Hill, he plans to study Health Policy and Management.
