Liam Railsback is from Highpoint, NC and will graduate from Wesleyan Christian Academy. As a student, Liam was part of theater, and student government. Liam was accepted to participate in the National Security Language Initiative for Youth (NSLI-Y) which is a merit-based scholarship from the U.S Department of State that funds oversea critical language study. Liam is passionate about working with refugee and immigrant communities, and people with disabilities. Currently, Liam is in Morocco where he splits his time to study Arabic with NSLI-Y, and the other half he spends his time volunteering at an afterschool program with students where he serves as a cultural Ambassador to the United States by building bridges within his placement and US culture. In the future, Liam hopes he can continue his service with the Moroccan Institute for Policy Analysts.
